Our highly specialized training caters for small class sizes with an emphasis on personalized tuition. The bulk of theoretical training is by Computer Based Training (CBT) backed up with board lectures by qualified instructors. Our instrument training is based on the use of a Synthetic Flight Trainer (SFT) - the Elite P1-158 imported from Switzerland and considered as one of the best on the market. Initial flying training is carried out using Virtual Training Systems (VTS), that is the learning of flight checks, procedures and general handling on the computer using an accurate representation of the aircraft. Twin flying instruction is in the Britten-Norman Islander.
The short version one year course allows for a minimum of 150 flying hours to Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating; basic Gas Turbine theory and Fiji Commercial Pilots Licence. |
